Sukumar eyes hunting Rakul Preet Singh

Sukumar, who has delivered a number of successful movies in his filmy career, has committed to do a movie with  Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu, which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. According to the latest update,  the director is planning to bring Rakul Preet Singh on the board to play the female lead role. The sources close to Sukumar reveal that currently Sukumar’s eyes are haunting Rakul Preet Singh. The director is very impressed with the work of Dhruva girl and wants to rope in his upcoming movie.

 It is known news that earlier Mahesh Babu and Rakul Preet Singh have worked together for spy thriller drama Spyder, which was directed by creative and talented film maker A R Murugadoss. An industry source said, “Rakul Preet Singh is one of the hot contenders to play love interest to Mahesh Babu, but nothing is fixed yet.” If everything will accordingly, once again the pair of Spyder will  work together for Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers’s film.

Sukumar’s previous offering Rangasthalam starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja and Samantha Akkineni was blockbuster at the box office and sukumar received lot of appreciation for his work.

Currently Rakul Preet Singh has number of projects in her kitty. She will be next seen playing Sridevi in NTR biopic starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. Apart from Krish’s project, she will also be seen in Surya starrer Nanda Gopalan Kumaran, Karthi starrer Dev and in an untitled film with Sivakarthikeyan. In Bollywood Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in Ajay Devgn starrer De De Pyaar De.

Currently Mahesh Babu is romancing with Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava fame Pooja Hegde in his upcoming 25th project Maharshi, which is being helmed by Vamsi Paidipally. He was last seen in Koratala Siva’s political drama Bharat Ane Nenu, where he essayed CM of Andhra Pradesh.
