The sources close to the film unit reveal that Hindi dubbing and satellite rights of Sumanth Ashwin starrer Prem Katha Chitram 2 has been sold out for the fancy price of Rs 1.5 Cr.
Hari Kishan is the director and R. Sudarshan Reddy is the producer of this horror comedy film, a sequel to director Maruthi’s blockbuster hit Prema Katha Chitram. Siddhi Idnani is playing the female lead whereas Nanditha Swetha will be seen in supporting role.
In the month of October, on the occasion of Dussehra, the makers of Prem Katha Chitram 2 released the first look poster of Nanditha Swetha.
Nandita Swetha, was last seen in Telugu in Srinivasa Kalyanam starring Nithiin and Raashi Khaana, and now she is making her comeback in Tollywood with Prema Katha Chitram 2.
According to the producer R Sudharshan Reddy, the film Prema Katha Chitram 2 is filled with romance, horror, and humour.
Except for a couple of songs, the entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up. Very soon the makers will announce the release date of the film.
Sumanth Ashwin made his debut in 2012 with Tuneega Tuneega under his father’s direction and later starred in the successful Kerintha and Columbus movies. He was last seen in Happy Wedding in which Niharika Konidela played the female lead role. The film was directed by Lakshman Karya and produced under Pocket Cinema in collaboration with UV Creations.
