On the occasion of Sankranthi 2020, number of Telugu movies will hit the theaters. Already, much-awaited movies like Prabhas starrer romantic entertainer, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Mahesh Babu starrer 26th film, Allu Arjun’s AA19, Balakrishna & KS Ravikumar film, Rajinikanth & AR Murugadoss film and Kamal-Shankar’s Bharatheeyudu 2 are scheduled to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2020 and now one more name has been added in this list and he is none other than Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is known news that Naga has made announcement about his next upcoming movie Bangarraju and now according to the latest update, this movie will hit the theaters on the eve of Sankranthi. Finally Nagarjuna has also joined the Sankranthi race and is getting ready to compete with Prabhas.
Bangarraju is a spin off of Nagarjuna’ Bangarraju character in his 2016 blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana. The regular shoot of the film will be commenced from the month of July. Incidentally, even Soggade Chinni Nayana had released during the Sankranthi season and was turned out Sankranthi winner at the box office. The upcoming drama Bangarraju will be directed by Kalyana Krishna.
Currently Prabhas is busy in his upcoming movie Saaho, directed by Sujeeth whereas Nagarjuna is romancing with Rakul Preet Singh in Manmadhudu 2, which is being directed by Rahul Ravindran and jointly bankrolled by Nagarjuna and Gemini Kiran under the banner Manam Enterprises and Anandi Art Creations.
