Tamilians flooded Twitter with posts weeping and expressing concern over a fictional character called Neasamani from the film Friends which was released in 2001. Samantha Akkineni and daughter-in-law of Akkineni Nagarjuna, and the wife of Naga Chaitanya has joined the #PrayforNeasamani trend, which is taking the entire country by storm.
