According to the latest update, the former heroine Laila is making her comeback in films. She has been roped in an upcoming bilingual Telugu-Tamil movie where she will essay the crucial role.
Laila was a well-known actress in Tollywood and Kollywood in the 90s and until mid-2000s. After tying the knot with Mehdin in 2006, she said bye-bye to film Industry but now she is making her comeback in acting filed.
After a long gap of 13 years, Laila is all set for a comeback in Telugu Film Industry. This news is confirmed by the actress herself at the sets of Comedian Ali’ talk Show. Laila revealed that she is going to act in a bilingual untitled drama which will be announced officially very soon.
Recently, a pic of Laila with her Pavitra Prema co-star Nandamuri Balakrishna and Sonal Chauhan at Hyderabad Airport made a splash on the social media sites.
Laila is known for her critically acclaimed and award-winning performances in Nandha, Pithamagan, Parthen Rasithen, Dheena, Dhill, Alli Thandha Vaanam, Unnai Ninaithu, Ullam Ketkume, and Kanda Naal Mudhal. The actress made her debut in the Telugu film Egire Paavurama in 1996, which was directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy.
