The popular Telugu comedian Venu Madhav passed away yesterday in a private hospital. He was suffering from the kidney and liver-related problems He was one of the most popular comedian of Telugu Film Industry. Recently in an interview, Venu Madhav revealed his first pay Cheque connection with Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). According to Venu Madhav, his first salary was a total sum of Rs 600, which he got from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Officer where he worked as a telephone operator to connects the call to later Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh NTR.
Venu Madhav was also working as a mimicry artist and used to give stage shows. Once when he was doing a stage show at Ravindra Bharati, SV Krishna Reddy noticed his talent and offered a role for his movie. Venu Madhav accepted the role and acted in ‘Sampradayam’. Soon he became popular. He has worked with several top stars of Telugu Film Industry. For Venkatesh starrer ‘Lakshmi’ he received the Nandi Award. In about 600 films, Venu Madhav featured as comedian and hero.
Venu Madhav who was born in Kodad of Suryapet district made his debut in movies with Sampradayam in 1996 and was last seen in Dr. Paramanandaiah Students Gang, which was released in 2016.
