The National award-winning filmmaker and actor, Vetrimaaran and Dhanush, teamed up for the critically acclaimed crime drama, Asuran, which has turned out to be the highest grosser in Dhanush’ filmy career. A few days ago Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu showered praises on Dhanush starrer Asuran, then everyone thought that Mahesh Babu is interested in Asuran remake and recently it was also heard that Mega Power Star Ram Charan is planning to act in this remake. But neither Mahesh Babu nor Ram Charan, It’s Venkatesh Daggubati who has signed the Telugu movie, the remake of Dhanush starrer Asuran.
Venkatesh Daggubati is popular for acting in the remake. F2 Fun and Frustration actor doesn’t think twice in giving a nod to films that became super hits in other languages. According to an official statement, Venkatesh Dagguati has given his green signal for the Telugu remake of Tamil film Asuran in which Dhanush and Manju Warrier are playing the lead roles. Currently, the movie is running successfully in Tamilnadu and is doing fantastic collections.
The Telugu remake of Asuran remake starring Venkatesh Daggubati will jointly produce by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and Suresh Babu under the banners of V Creations and Suresh Productions.
The Entertainment Tracker Kaushik LM has confirmed this news by sharing a post on Twitter. There is no further detail regarding the co-stars or director have been released yet. Asuran remake will mark Venkatesh Daggubati’s 74th film. It is not yet known who will essay the role of Manju Warrier in this remake.
Meanwhile, Victory Venkatesh is also going to work on a project with Tharun Bhascker, which will be produced by Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions. The movie is set against the backdrop of a horse racing club in Hyderabad. The upcoming film might also see Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the upcoming film will mark his debut in Tollywood.
