Sandeep Reddy Vanga became an overnight sensation in Tollywood after delivering blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy in which Vijay Deverakonda shared the screen space with Shalini Pandey. Later Sandeep Reddy Vanga tried to test his luck in Bollywood and came up with Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The movie Kabir Singh was also turned out blockbuster at the box office and now is now gearing up for a crime drama. Earlier it was heard that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is on the board to helm a Telugu web series and now it is being heard that he has opted out of the Telugu version of web series, Lust Stories.
We have already reported that four Telugu directors are on the board to helm their own stories and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was one of them to helm Lust stories but now he has opted out.
Recently during the media interaction, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, “Initially, they said that it’s about an honor killing, but later they said to me that it is about lust. After hearing this I told them that I am not comfortable with lust.”
Finally, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has confirmed that he is not doing the web series based on Lust. However, he adds that he is planning to do another web series in the near future.
Arjun Reddy’s fame director said, “I am planning to direct a web series in the next 4-5 years, which will be based on some real-life incidents.”
While Sandeep Reddy Vanga’ Arjun Reddy became a part of controversy for its smoking and kissing scenes, the Shahid starrer Kabir Singh also received negative reviews from critics for glamorizing misogyny and toxic masculinity. But both the movies were turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next will be produced by Bhushan Kumar along with Murad Khetani, who was also part of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s film.
