Mahesh Babu, the ‘Prince’ of Tollywood, is busy in his upcoming much awaited drama Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is being helmed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 Fun and Frustration fame. The romantic and comedy movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, in which Mahesh Babu is playing the role of Major Ajay Krishna, has taken social media by storm and this clearly indicates that it has the potential to set the box office on fire. According to the latest report, Sarileru Neekevvaru’ Ceeded rights have been sold for Rs 10.8 crore, but the movie has become fail to beat Mahesh Babu’ previous offering Maharshi.
Sarileru Neekevvaru has failed to beat Maharshi as the Vamshi Paidipally’ directorial venture- the social message oriented movie had fetched around Rs 12 crore in Ceeded.
Sarileru Neekevvaru is slated to clash with Stylish Star Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramloo which is also releasing on 12th January 2020 on the occasion of Sankranthi.
Sarileru Neekevvaru is an action-comedy in which Mahesh Babu will be seen romancing with Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna. Few days ago, in an interview, Mahesh Babu has said that his fans will be ‘proud’ of Sarileru Neekevvaru and indicated that he is confident about the film.
Recently Anil Ravipudi took to his Twitter and revealed that a special treat is on the way for the audiences during the Diwali season. There were rumours that Sarileru Neekevvaru’ teaser might release on the eve of Diwali. Now, the latest tweet by the director Anil Ravipudi has further strengthened such claims. The audiences are eagerly waiting for the treat.
Mahesh Babu’ previous offering Maharshi, which deals with the farmers issue, was a blockbuster at the box office. In the film Mahesh Babu romanced with Pooja Hegde whereas Allari Naresh played the role of his friend. The movie was helmed by Vamsi Paidipally and recently it was heard that after wrapping up the shoot of Sarileru Neekevvaru, once again Mahesh Babu will team up with Maharshi fame director Vamsi Paidipally for his next project.
