Police have said all four accused- Mohammad Areef Pasha, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen Kumar and Chintakunta Chenna Keshavulu, in the rape and murder of the Hyderabad vet Disha have been killed in crossfire on Friday. The accused were shot dead on the same highway where the body of the 26-year-old lady Disha was found.
The sources confirmed that all the four accused in the Hyderabad, Disha’s brutal gang rape and murder case have been killed in an encounter at Shadnagar. The four accused were taken to the spot for recreation of the crime scene and when they tried to escape they were shot dead.
According to the latest update, when the cops were trying to reconstruct the scene at Shadnagar, the culprits had reportedly tried to escape and police had fired at the culprits at NH-44. All the four accused have died on the same spot.
The Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar said, “The 4 accused Mohammad Areef Pasha, Jollu Naveen Kumar, Jollu Shiva, and Chintakunta Chenna Keshavulu in Hyderabad rape-murder case killed in crossfire in wee hours today.
It is known the news that 26-year-old veterinary doctor Disha was raped and then burnt alive by four men and her body was found on 28th November under a culvert on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru national highway.
The accused were identified as Mohammad Areef, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen, and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu. Mohammad Areef (25), who worked as a driver, was the prime accused in the case. The entire Telugu film fraternity expressed their shock and anger regarding the brutal rape and murder of Disha on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Disha who had gone missing on 27th November night was found dead on 28th November morning and her burnt body was found at a distance of 30 km from where her two-wheeler had suffered a flat tire. Anushka Shetty, Keerthy Suresh, Kajal Aggarwal, Yami Gautam, Raashi Khanna, Rakul Preet Singh, Lavanya Tripathi, Mehreen and others reacted over the incident of rape and murder of Disha.
