It is known the news that Mahesh Babu has turned producer and is bankrolling an upcoming film which is titled Major, in which Adivi Sesh is playing the lead role. The upcoming film Major is based in the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who lost his life in 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The film Major is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers are planning to rope Alia Bhatt to play the female lead in Mahesh Babu’s production venture starring Adivi Sesh.
The sources say that though the talk has initiated Alia Bhatt is yet to sign Mahesh Babu and Adivi Sesh’s film Major. The movie unit feels that Alia Bhatt will bring extra mileage for Mahesh Babu’s project. Now we have to wait and see whether Alia Bhatt will give her green signal for Mahesh Babu’ Major or not. Adivi Sesh is playing the role of Sandeep Unnikrishnan in Major.
In the past, during an interview, Mahesh Babu’s wife and managing director of the production company, Namrata Shirdokar, had said, “Mahesh and I have envisioned GMB to bring the stories that resonate globally. We are excited to be able to tell such a unique tale about the life of a national hero. Adivi She and Sashikiran Tikka’ honest vision for Major’ story resonated with us.” Namrata added, “In Sony Pictures, we have found the right partners to bring the incredible story to the big screen for Indian and international audience.”
Currently, Alia Bhatt has multiple projects in her kitty. She is also the part of Rajamouli’ RRR which has Young Tiger Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn. Alia Bhatt is paired opposite Ram Charan and will be seen playing the role of Sita. Alia Bhatt has already wrapped up the shoot of her part.
