The makers of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s film are planning to rope Catherine Tresa in their film to play the female lead. Earlier it was heard that Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will play the female lead but recently she refuted the rumor by sharing a tweet. Now it is heard that the makers who first approached Sonakshi Sinha, are now finalizing Catherine Tresa for the female lead of Balakrishna starrer upcoming untitled film. The sources say that Catherine Tresa is taking Rs 1 Cr as her remuneration for Balakrishna starrer and with this, she joins the club of actresses who are charging high amounts for films.
Apparently Boyapati Srinu’s directorial venture has two actresses, one of them is Catherine Tresa and the hunt for the second female lead is on. The sources close to the film unit revealed that one female lead appears in the first half and the second one in the second half. There are no scenes of the two actresses together in this film, so Catherine Tresa is considering this film too.
Currently, Catherine Tresa is working with the young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda in an upcoming romantic drama World Famous Lover. Directed by Kranthi Madhav, the film has 4 actresses, Catherine Tresa is one of them. The movie will arrive at the theaters on 14th February on the occasion of Valentine’s day.
Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu have teamed up for the third time. Having delivered hits like Simhaa and Legend, the hit combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu has reunited for another commercial potboiler.
However, if the industry grapevine is anything to go by, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen as the antagonist. Sanjay Dutt is said to have been already signed for the part. An official announcement is yet to be made regarding the inclusion of Sanjay.
