The much-awaited trailer of Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and Lady superstar Nayantara starrer action cop based drama Drabar is out. Darbar trailer is filled with Rajinikanth mark swag as he is seen as a bad cop. Nayantara is seen playing his love interest in the film Darbar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss. Rajinikanth is playing the role of a cop named Aaditya Arunasalam who is ruthless and in the end, he says, ‘I’m a bad cop.’ Also, he appears in another role where he is clad in dapper suits, which is believed to be his second role in this upcoming directorial venture of AR Murugadoss. Rajinikanth is looking young and energetic.

The trailer of Darbar was launched in Mumbai. After watching the one-minute long trailer, Darbar seems like a perfect commercial out that celebrates Rajinikanth. Suneil Shetty is playing the main villain whereas Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil, Soori, Harish Uthaman, Rao Ramesh, Bose Venkat, Prakash Raj, Jeeva, Manobala, Suman, Anandaraj, Nawab Shah, and Yogi Babu will be seen in important roles. Jatin Sarna of Sacred Games fame will make a cameo appearance in Rajinikanth’s film Darbar. Jatin shot his portion over a six-day schedule in Mumbai City The scenes between Rajinikanth and Suneil Shetty seem promising.

The sources say that Rajinikanth will be seen in two roles. In one of the roles, he is a cop whereas, in the other role, he is a social activist.

Darbar is touted to be an action entertainer, which will be released on 10th January 2020. However, the makers are yet to announce the official release date of Darbar yet. The technical crew of Darbar features sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander, editor Sreekar Prasad and cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

On 9th April, AR Murugadoss had shared the first look of Darbar, which marks his maiden collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth. This action thriller will be the Rajinikanth’ 167th film. Rajinikanth has also taken up the role of a cop almost 25 years after Pandiyan which was released in 1992.
