Ever since the official announcement of Temper and iSmart Shankar fame Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’ Fighter was made a couple of months ago, there have been a lot of speculations and hype around the film. The regular shoot is expected to commence from the month of January 2020. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Puri Jagannadh is planning to bring American boxing legend Mike Tyson to the board to play a key role in his upcoming directorial venture Fighter which has a young actor Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
Puri Jagannadh’s directorial venture Fighter is a sports drama set in the boxing backdrop in which Vijay Deverakonda will be seen as a boxer. Now, a crazy rumor that started doing the rounds is that Puri Jagannadh is keen on roping in American boxing legend Mike Tyson for a key role in this upcoming film Fighter. However, Puri’s production house has not made any official announcement regarding the inclusion of boxing legend Mike Tyson in Vijay Deverakonda’s film Fighter.
Mike Tyson is one of the richest sportspeople in the world and now we have to wait and see whether he will agree to do a cameo in Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s film.
The sources revealed that Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor will play the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this pan-Indian film. Karan Johar will be presenting the Hindi version of Fighter.
The sources close to the filmmakers also revealed that Baahubali fame Ramya Krishna is on the board to essay Vijay Devarakonda’s mother in the film. It is heard that the shoot of Fighter has been planned for four months in Mumbai and the main crew has already landed in the city to prep for the shoot. Once the shoot is done in Mumbai, the makers have also planned to shoot the film Fighter in the US for a brief time.
