It is known the news that Akkineni Nagarjuna has collaborated with Solomon for an upcoming untitled drama where he will essay the role of a cop. Earlier Solomon has worked as a writer for films like Oopiri and Maharshi. Apparently this upcoming untitled of Nagarjuna has a rugged theme in the lines of few web series like Sacred Games and Mirzapur, in which Nagarjuna will be seen in a powerful role. Earlier it was heard that the makers are planning to bring Kajal Aggarwal in this upcoming film of Nagarjuna starrer. But the sources say that the team has dropped the idea to rope Kajal Aggarwal and currently in the hunt of a newbie.
According to Nagarjuna, Kajal Aggarwal won’t fit the bill. Recently there are rumors that Nagarjuna is giving a fresh lease of life to Kajal Aggarwal who is struggling to get the offers in Tollywood but now finally he is not willing to rope her in his upcoming action cop based drama.
Nagarjuna and Solomon want to rope in a prominent model who could bring glamorous weight to the movie. The sources close to the film unit revealed that Nagarjuna will be wooing a new girl and he himself ruled out Kajal Aggarwal since he felt that the role doesn’t justify her image and talent.
The sources say that Nagarjuna and Solomon have already started the search of a pretty damsel, mostly a newcomer, who would fit aptly into the character.
On the work side, Kajal Aggarwal is currently working with Shankar for an upcoming film Indian 2, in which Kamal Haasan is playing the lead role. Indian 2 is the sequel to Shankar’s film of the same name, which was released in 1996. The film had Kamal Haasan’s character taking on corrupt officials.
Kajal Aggarwal who is also working for Mumbai Saga is waiting for the release of her woman-centric movie Paris Paris.
