According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Nivetha Thomas has been roped in an upcoming Telugu movie, the remake of Bollywood superhit movie Pink, in which Power Star Pawan Kalyan will play the lead role. We have already reported that Pawan Kalyan is going to make his comeback in the acting field with Pink remake, which will be directed by Venu Sriram of MCA fame and will be jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Bollywood noted producer Boney Kapoor. now the sources revealed that Nivetha Thomas is on the board to play an important role in Pink remake and she will reprise the role of Taapsee Pannu from the original.
The regular shoot of Pink remake starring Nivetha Thomas and Pawan Kalyan will be started from the next month and Pawan Kalyan will join the shoot from February 2020. The shoot will be continued without any break. Currently, the film is in pre-production stage and the makers are in the hunt of its cast and crew.
It is a challenging role and the makers felt that Nivetha Thomas would do justice for the assignment. The movie will hit the theaters during Summer 2020.
Pawan Kalyan will reprise Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B’ role from the original and he has allotted a 20 days call sheet for it. Sriram Venu will helm this remake. It is worth mentioning that Pawan Kalyan bid adieu to the movies due to his political commitments. But now Pawan Kalyan has decided to don the greasepaint again with Pink remake where he will share the screen space with Nivetha Thomas.
Nivetha Thomas made her debut with Malayalam film Veruthe Oru Bharya, for which she won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. The movie was released in 2008. In the same year, Nivetha made her Tamil debut with Kuruvi. She made her debut in Tollywood with Natural Star Nani starrer Gentleman in 2016. Currently, Nivetha Thomas has multiple projects in her kitty- Darbar, V, and Swaasa, which are in different production stages.
