According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the anchor turned actress Rashmi Gautam has been roped in an upcoming untitled film in which Nandamuri Balakrishna will play the lead role. It is known the news that Balakrishna has collaborated with Boyapati Srinu for a project, which has been launched yesterday with a pooja ceremony. The sources say that Rashmi Gautam will play a key role in Balakrishna’s film. More detail about her role will be out very soon.
Earlier the makers wanted to rope Anasuya Bharadwaj in Balakrishna starrer but as she was busy in other commitments, she refused the offer and later the role fell into the lap of Rashmi Gautam. The makers say that Rashmi Gautam fits the bill completely in Balakrishna starrer. The shooting of the untitled film is expected to start from the month of January and the makers are aiming for a summer release.
On the other side, recently Rashmi Gautam has been roped in an upcoming web series, which will be directed by Sekhar Suri of A Film by Aravind fame. She has already won the hearts of movie lovers with her glamour and performance skill and now she is all set to branch out to another creative platform, OTT and streaming media platforms. Rashmi Gautam is very happy with the concept of web series and believes innovative content and intriguing plotlines will give help her to showcase her talent.
The bold actress Rashmi Gautam works also as a television presenter and is known for hosting the Telugu television comedy show Extra Jabardasth. Her popular movies are Guntur Talkies, Balapam Patti Bhama Odilo, and Next Nuvve.
Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna had earlier worked together in box-office hits like ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’. It looks like they are set for a hat trick now.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy in his upcoming action-drama Ruler, which is being directed by KS Ravikumar and it will hit the theatres on 20th December.
