Venky Mama Collections: After Premem, this was the second time when Venkatesh Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya teamed up for a movie Venky Mama, directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby. The movie was released on 13th December 2019 in a very grand manner and is running successfully at the box office. The emotional content and Venkatesh Daggubati’s performance are said to be major highlights of this film. According to the trader’s report, Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya have collected around Rs 2 Cr share on the fourth day. The romantic and comedy-drama Venky Mama has minted Rs 19.44 Cr Shares at the box office of both Telugu States – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after the successful run of 4 days.

On the work front, Venkatesh Daggubati has already started the preparation for his next upcoming film, which is a remake of Tamil blockbuster drama Asuran, which will be directed by Srikanth Addala and bankrolled by Suresh Babu. Asuran remake is expected to go on the floor in the month of January.
On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya is working with Fidaa and MCA fame Sai Pallavi in Sekhar Kammula’s directorial venture, which is expected to hit the theaters on the occasion of Valentine day. Recently he has also signed a movie with Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame, which is expected to go on the floor in the month of May. It is being heard that Parasuram is planning to bring Samantha on the board to play the female lead.
