Samantha made her debut with Gautham Menon‘ directorial venture, Ye Maaya Chesave. For her performance in the super hit movie, she also raked in many awards for the best actress. Before debuting as an actress, Samantha Akkinnei picked up many odd jobs. She even worked as a model before entering the cinemas. Though the beautiful actress Samantha reached great heights now, she too has her own share of ups and downs in her life like every one.
Samantha Akkineni was last seen in the movie ‘Oh! Baby’ which is a blockbuster hit at the box office. The movie directed by Nandini Reddy and had Naga Shaurya in the lead role. Samantha is one who still continues to be on the top form. After tying the knot, she started to prefer to act in woman centric movie.
Though Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Mandanna, Raashi Khanna and few other actresses are also in the race and want to become the Queen of Tollywood. But none took the advantage to become the real No 1 starlet of Tollywood.
On the work front Samantha will be seen in upcoming film Jaanu, the remake of Tamil film 96, directed by Prem Kumar in which Sharwanand is playing the lead role.
