Power Star Pawan Kalyan is getting ready to start the shoot of his upcoming film, which is a remake of Bollywood superhit film Pink in which Taapsee Pannu and Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B played the lead role. Pawan Kalyan is all set to reprise the role of Amitabh Bachchan in this courtroom drama which is titled as Lawyer Shaab. The upcoming film Layer Shaab starring Pawan Kalyan will be helmed by Venu Sriram and will be jointly produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. As per the latest updates, Pink’ Telugu version’s shoot will commence from 20th January and Pawan Kalyan will start the shoot with an electrifying action sequence.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Pawan Kaklyan is charging a bomb for his comeback movie, Pink remake. The sources close to Pawan Kalyan revealed that Gabbar Singh star is going to get the cheque of Rs 50 Cr for Pink remake and he has allotted just 15 days. Nivetha Thomas and Anjali have been roped to play the female lead role in this much awaited movie, which has the music by Thaman. The sources revealed that Nivetha Thomas’ uncanny ability to naturally slip into any role seems to have been the clincher for her. On the other side, Anjali is waiting for the release of her upcoming movie Nishabdham in which Anushka Shetty and R Madhavan are essaying the lead roles.
Pink remake was a massive hit in Hindi and Tamil both and it remains to be seen how it fares in Telugu. Titled as Nerkonda Paarvai in Tamil, the remake starred Kollywood star Ajith Kumar in the lead role. Directed by H Vinoth, the film had Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang in supporting roles.
Apart from Pink remake, Pawan Kalyan will also be seen in Krish’ directorial venture.
