Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi is on the board to play the role of villain in Stylish Star Allu Arjun‘ 20th film which will be helmed by Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame. Currently Allu Arjun is enjoying the success of his recent offering Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, which is currently doing wonders at the box office. The film hasn’t been titled yet but it is also confirmed that Vijay Sethupathi will feature in Allu Arjun starrer in a negative role. Now, the latest buzz is that Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly charging a whopping 10 crores remuneration to play the role of antagonist in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’ film
Touted as a rustic action entertainer, Sukumar’ directorial venture revolves around red scandal mafia. The makers have already roped Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna to play the love interest of Allu Arjun in this film. Though Vijay Sethupathi predominantly works in Tamil movies, but he did make an extended cameo in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. But this time Vijay Sethupathi will be seen portraying a full-fledged negative role in Allu Arjun film. Vijay Sethupathi’ remuneration is giving shock to everyone.
The sources say that very soon Vijay Sethupathi and Allu Arjun will meet to discuss the script furthermore and get a joint narration to form a common ground over several aspects of this upcoming film.
Allu Arjun, Vijay Sethupathi and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is based on reading sand smugglers in the backdrop of Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh. The makers of the film, including Sukumaran, have reportedly done location recce in order to find the right locations. The art department of #AA20 is busy with the set work.
This will be for the first time where Allu Arjun and Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing the same space on big screens. The upcoming film of Sukumar will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
