After a gap of two years, Nag Ashwin announced his next directorial venture in which Young Rebel Star Prabhas will play the lead role. And the untitled film of Prabhas will be produced by Aswini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, who has completed 50 years in the industry. According to the latest update, the upcoming directorial venture of Nag Ashwin is a science fiction entertainer in which Prabhas will be seen playing a Superhero. According to a few, Prabhas starrer is based on the ‘time machine’ concept.
Science fiction, a rare genre in Indian movies, is a first for both Prabhas and Nag Ashwin. Nag Ashwin’s previous two films, ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’ and ‘Mahanati’, were a drama and a biopic, respectively. Science fiction is definitely radically different from them.
Reportedly, Nag Ashwin and Prabhas’ film will be a pan-Indian venture which will have a grand release in multiple languages across the country.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently working with Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame for a period romantic entertainer in which he is sharing the screen space with Pooja Hegde. The movie which is tentatively titled O Dear is being bankrolled by UV Creations and Gopikrishna Movie. After wrapping up this romantic film, Prabhas will move on to his 21st film with Nag Ashwin.
