Mass Maharaja Ravi starrer action drama Vikramarkudu has completed 14 years as the movie was released on 23rd June 2006.   Ravi Teja and Anushka Shetty starrer Vikramarkudu will always be counted among the blockbuster hits in  Tollywood. Vikramarkudu was the breakthrough film of Baahubali and Rudramadevi fame Anushka Shetty. The action movie was remade in Kannada as Veera Madakari, in Tamil as Siruthai, in Hindi as Rowdy Rathore, in Bengali as Bikram Singha: The Lion Is Back. With six remakes in five languages, Vikramarkudu is one of the second-highest remade film in Indian cinema.

 Ravi Teja’ film  Vikramarkudu was directed by SS Rajamouli and the story was penned by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad with dialogues written by M. Ratnam whereas produced by Sri Keerthi Creations on a budget of Rs 11 crore. It was screened at the International Film Festival of India in the mainstream section.

Right from the lead artists’ remarkable performances to the soundtrack, the film Vikramarkudu was a hit with everyone.  SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture was not only a big hit at the box-office, but critics too showered praises upon.

 Vikramarkudu is all about the story of a small-time thief Sathibabu, who resembles a tough cop Rathore, not only takes care of his daughter after his death but also takes charge of his place as a police officer and decides to finish the don, Bavuji.
