Chiranjeevi Sarja, who was one of the talented actors of Kannada film industry, passed away yesterday afternoon. He was 39. Chiranjeevi Sarja died at a hospital in Bengaluru. He died due to cardiac arrest. The sources say that the actor collapsed while speaking to his father on phone around 1.10 pm and later he was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar where he breathed his last. . Doctors declared the actor dead on arrival. Mourning his death, Allu Sirish wrote, “Shocked at the sudden demise of Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja. He was just 39 years old.”
Chiranjeevi Sarja started his career in the Sandalwood with the movie Vayuputra in 2009 and he has been the part of several successful movies such as Samhaara, Sinnga, Amma I Love You, Aadyaa, Khaki, Prema Baraha, Dandam Dashagunam, Varadhanayaka and Vayuputra etc. The actor was last seen in the Kannada action-drama Shivarjuna.
Chiranjeevi Sarja’ last rites will be conducted at the farmhouse of his grandfather Shakti Prasad at Jakkenahalli in Madhugiri taluk in Tumakuru district on Monday. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only few people, including his family members, artistes from the Kannada film industry will be present.
