The Young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda’ forthcoming film tentatively titled Fighter with director Puri Jagannadh was flagged off in Mumbai, with a formal pooja ceremony in the month of January but the shoot was halted due to coronavirus outbreak and lockdown. The movie marks Vijay Deverakonda’s first collaboration with Puri Jagannadh who is popular for his mass entertainers like Pokiri, Temper, and iSmart Shankar.
The upcoming film of Vijay Deverakonda starrer is an intense action drama set in the kickboxing backdrop, which is being made as a pan-Indian project and the Hindi version is being released by noted producer and distributor Karan Johar.
There were speculations that Puri Jagannadh is considering Fighter as its title. Even Liger was rumored to be the title. But now the makers have decided to end this suspense soon. Yesterday Charmee Kaur, one of the co-producer of Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter, took to her Twitter and revealed that the original title will be announced soon.
Charmee Kaur said, “Nothing has been changed and nothing will be changed !! Fighter script is a blockbuster. The shoot will commence only after corona crisis settles down. We are super duper confident about the upcoming film Fighter. Original title will be announced soon.” B town girl Ananya Pandey is playing the female lead role.
