A major transport scam was busted by Anantapur police and they arrested former MLA and Telugu Desam Party leader JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son JC Asmith Reddy for using forged documents to register scrapped and condemned vehicles in Andhra Pradesh.
The police arrested JC Prabhakar Reddy on Saturday at his residence in Banjarahills. According to the latest report, On Saturday, Anantapur police early hours arrested TDP leader JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son Asmith Reddy over fake NoC for 154 buses. It is alleged that JC Prabhakar Reddy sold BS III vehicles on the name of BS-IV using forged documents. According to the police, a couple of vehicles registered on the same number.
The Police said that they have arrested JC Prabhakar Reddy to investigate the case. After investigation, JC Prabhakar Reddy will be produced before the court.
The Transport Commissioner of Road Transport Authority SAV Prasada Rao said 154 buses of BS-III category belonging to JC Travels have been seized. According to SAV Prasada Rao, the buses were registered illegally and were operating without valid licenses and insurance certificates for the last 3 years. JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son JC Asmith Reddy have been operating and selling vehicles using forged documents.
Achan Naidu’s arrest shocked TDP leaders yesterday and now JC Prabhakar Reddy’s arrest is also giving shock to everyone.
