Simran Bagga was last seen in Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer Petta. The actress is still trying hard to bag some big projects in her second innings. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Simran would be seen playing the lead role in Chandramukhi 2. This project Chandramukhi 2 is said to be directed by Raghava Lawrence. When Simran came to know about this she refuted the rumor by saying that it is a fake news.
Simran took to her microblogging page and said, “I am sorry to disappoint my fans. I wanted to clarify I have not been approached for any such role for the movie Chandramukhi 2. I kindly request you all to please get it right before publishing it on any platform.”
‘Chandramukhi 2’ is a sequel to 2005 ‘Chandramukhi’ starring Rajinikanth, Nayantara, and Jyothika, which was a huge blockbuster. Now, Raghava Lawrence is making Chandramukhi 2’.
It is a known news that Simran was the first to be approached to play the female lead in ‘Chandramukhi’ when the movie was first released almost fifteen years back. While director P Vasu has completed scripting for the second part- Chandramukhi 2’ , he is yet to reveal the rest of the cast and crew of this sequel.
