Telangana government officially permitted the shootings of movies and Television serials and programs. Chief Minister KCR has given the green signal with certain COVID-19 guidelines in place. All the guidelines of COVID19 should be strictly followed.
Chief Minister KCR said that the shootings, post-production work, and other related works can be held in the state Telangana with limited crew and guidelines framed by the government. KCR said, the shooting of TV series and movies can be held in the state with limited staff and by following guidelines issued by the government from time to time. However, the permission is limited only to shooting and not to the cinema hall reopening. The state government refused to give permission to film theaters to open for the public as the Central guidelines don’t allow this.
The government has also directed the officials concerned to form the guidelines in the matter. It is believed that, no outdoor shooting is allowed. And the size of the crew during the shoot will also be limited.
The film personalities gave an assurance that they would conduct the shootings and post-production with a limited number of people and abide by the guidelines of the state. Megastar Chiranjeevi took to his Twitter account to appreciate the government’s decision. Khaidi No1 50 star that the decision will help put to work thousands of daily wage workers who depend on the film industry.
