Adivi Sesh, who was last seen in Everu, is currently working for his upcoming project Major, which is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and bankrolled by Mahesh Babu’s home banner Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu Entertainment in the association with the Sony Pictures Productions, the Telugu and Tamil bilingual will also release in Hindi.
Major is a biopic based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Adivi Sesh is stepping into the shoes of this NSG Commando, who rescued hostages during the 26/11 terror attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai and perished in his valorous mission. According to Adivi Sesh, he will dub for his role in the Hindi version.
Adivi Sesh is said to have lost almost 8 Kgs weight with the fitness training for this film Major.
The sources say that Adivi Sesh lost his weight because he wanted to suit the perfection of Major Sandeep Unni Krishnan on whom the movie is based. He is confident of this Pan Indian film and is hoping to catapult to the next level of stars in Telugu Film Industry. The makers have already wrapped up 40 percent of the shoot.
Besides Major, Adivi Sesh has also lined up the sequel to Goodachari titled Goodachari 2. Rahul Pakala will be directing this sequel.
