India is one of the most affected countries from corona virus pandemic. To slow down the spread of the virus, the government implemented a national lockdown in late-March, which continued until May. While the lockdown took a toll on the economy, the number of Covid-19 infection cases continues to climb with growth prospects for the current quarter collapsing. India’s recovery trajectory is going weak as the country is struggling to get past the peak of the pandemic.
Amid tragic times, some celebrities are coming forward to promote local products and asking the people to encourage Indian brands. Stylish Star Allu Sirish started an initiative to promote the local brands and sending hampers of Indian products to the celebrities. Allu Sirish also sent a gift hamper to his elder brother Allu Arjun.
Allu Arjun himself confirmed that same and showered praises on Allu Sirish. Allu Arjun shared a picture of his brother Allu Sirish’ hamper and appreciated the idea.
Sarrainodu actor said, “The ongoing Covid pandemic has changed the way we need to look at things. This is time for us to support our country by using more local brands. In a globalized world it is impractical for us to buy only Indian brands. But I request you to make a conscious effort to use MORE Indian brands.”
