Dr Rajasekhar is lining up a series of intriguing projects during the lockdown period and will start the shoot of his project once Covid-19 effect is nullified. He recently gave his nod for a story that was narrated by Karun Kumar of Palasa fame. Now according to the latest update, Dr Rajasekhar has given his nod for another project that will have acclaimed filmmaker G Neelakanta Reddy at the helm.
Now the reports are coming that Rajashekar and Neelakanta film will be a remake of the acclaimed 2018 Malayalam crime thriller, Joseph. The Malayalam version was helmed by Padma Kumar and the movie starred Joju George, Athmiya Rajan, Dileesh Pothan, Malavika Menon and Madhuri Braganza in lead roles.
However, the makers of the movie are yet to confirm if the upcoming film of Dr Rajasekhar is going to be a remake of Malayalam film Joseph or not. Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha’ daughters Shivani and Shivathmika will bankroll this upcoming film along with MLV Satyanarayana.
The sources say that Garuda Vega star Dr Rajasekhar wants to do content driven movies from now on and he has been acting accordingly. His upcoming project with the director Neelakanta will be officially announced very soon.
