Recently Om Raut of Tanhaji fame made official announcement regarding his next project Adipurush and this announcement was a huge surprise for everyone as Young Rebel Star Prabhas is on the board to play the lead role and he will essay the role of Lord Ram. Adipurush is going to be made on a whopping budget of Rs 500 Crores and is aiming at the global star status from the Indian sub-continent. Recently Om Raut attended an interview and spoke about Prabhas and Adipurush.
Om Raut revealed that Prabhas is the biggest star now in India and moreover he has that calmness and aggression in his looks that exactly fit the role of Lord Rama. The director Om Raut also added, “Ever since I watched Rajamouli’ Baahubali, I was impressed by Young Rebel star Prabhas. The upcoming film Adipurush is my dream project and dreams of a director cannot be accomplished without a team. I have Baahubali star Prabhas to help me translate my vision on screen and our producer, Bhushan Kumar has been a pillar of strength. Prabhas has already started the preparation for his role and very soon he will start archery training.”
According to Om Raut, the upcoming film Adipurush is concerned with the parallel happening of Ayodhya Temple.
