The director from Hyderabad – Nagesh Kukunoor is currently busy in his upcoming directorial venture Good Luck Sakhi in which National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh is playing the lead role. Nagesh Kukunoor’s announcement last year that he would make a film in Telugu langausges took many by surprise! Nagesh had made his first film 22 years earlier, and had 13 movies to his credit, but he hadn’t made a single one in Telugu.
Nagesh Kukunoor in the film industry for twenty-two years but didn’t do a Telugu film all these years though he was offered some movies but now he is coming up with Good Luck Sakhi.
Recently Nagesh Kukunoor interacted with media and spoke about his personal life and project. When he was asked whether he has any friends in Tollywood, to which he replied, “I know Rana Daggubati and Shobu Yarlagadda. I meet them occasionally.” Nagesh Kukunoor is single, and he says he doesn’t believe in the traditional institution of marriage.
Nagesh Kukunoor added, “Being in relationships and falling in love were part of my life, but I am against traditional practices and settling down in a marriage. Although I met many right girls, I feel marriage is a useless institution which has no value.”
