Pop singer Smita has contracted Coronavirus. Her husband, too, has tested positive for covid-19. Both have isolated themselves at their Hyderabad residence. The Hyderabad based couple is asymptomatic. Taking to her social media page on Tuesday evening, Singer Smita said that she and her husband have been staying safe at home and yet, the Coronavirus came knocking on the door.
Pop Singer Smita took to her Twitter and said, “Mad mad day yesterday. I got body pains which I thought because of heavy workout but I got tested to be on safe side. Shashank and I tested coronavirus positive. Mostly asymptomatic. Waiting to kick Covid out, donate plasma and chill. We Stayed Home Stayed Safe but Covid-19 came home.”
Singer Smita says, “My husband and I have both been working from home since the month of March and we have been taking all the necessary safety precautions. And yet, it looks like Covid-19 has come home. Recently our electrician came home for some work and we later found out he had tested positive for covid-19. So it’s likely that we got it from him. We are now trying to focus on beating this deadly virus and come out strong.”
