Director Venkatesh Maha, who is known for helming critically acclaimed ‘C/o Kancharapalem’ has announced his third film, which is titled Su Mathi. The upcoming film Su Mathi will come with the tag line ‘an empire state of mind’. Paruchuri Praveena is on the board to play the lead role. Both Venkatesh Maha and Paruchuri Praveena have already worked together in C/o Kancharapalem and one again duo collaborated for this upcoming movie Su Mathi.
Venkatesh Maha took to his microblogging page yesterday and made official announcement regarding this project Su Mathi by releasing a poster that indicates that the movie is set in the backdrop of New York. Coming on the poster, a Telugu old lady in saree is seen looking at the tall Empire State Building on W 34th Street in New York. It seems this is her first visit to US.
Venkatesh Maha said, “On this date 4 years ago I found Paruchuri Praveena who believed in my vision and “C/o Kancharapalem” became a reality. So, on the anniversary of our partnership, we are announcing our next project. Su Mathi.”
Venkatesh Maha’ first directorial venture was C/o Kancharapalem and later he came up with Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, and now he has decided to come up with his third project Su Mathi.
