Sukumar is one of the talented film makers of South Indian film Industry. His previous offering was village based movie Rangasthalam in which mega Power Star Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni played the lead roles. The movie Rangasthalam, bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, was one of the blockbuster movie of Tollywood, which was released in 2018. More than two years have passed since the release of this film Rangasthalam, and he has not yet started the shoot of his next film which is titled ‘Pushpa’ that has Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.
It is known news that after the release of Rangasthalam, Sukumar was waiting for the nod of Mahesh Babu, but Bharat Ane Nenu star did not show any interest. So Sukumar lost most more than one year. Later he waited for Allu Arjun to complete Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial venture ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. Thus he lost two years after the release of ‘Rangasthalam’. And due to lockdown and coronavirus pandemic, he is not able to start the shoot of Pushpa. So, Sukumar will be losing nearly three years of precious time.
The sources say that currently Sukumar is busy penning scripts for web series.
