Ramesh Varma delivered a super hit with the serial killer thriller drama Rakshasudu in which the young actor Bellamkonda Srinivas and Anupama Parameswaran, played the lead roles. It was remake of Tamil film Ratsasan and now this film will be remade in Hindi. Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer Rakshasudu, which is itself a remake of a Tamil film, is now being remade in Hindi. According to the latest update, Ramesh Varma will be directing the Bollywood version and the makers are planning to rope a star hero to play the lead role in Rakshasudu remake.
Interestingly, Ramesh Varma is very excited as he got the chance to direct the Bollywood remake of ‘Rakshasudu’. Satyanarayana Koneru of A Studio and Havish will be producing its Hindi version, which will go on the floor next year.
The film Rakshasudu revolves around Arun (Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas), who sets out in pursuit of a mysterious serial killer who targets young girls and murders them. After a series of murders, Arun confirms that it is being done by a psychopath with an anti-social disorder.
The psychological thriller drama won the appreciation of the audience in Telugu and Tamil. The producer Koneru Satyanarayana has bought the Hindi remake rights for a whopping price.
