It is known news that on the occasion of his birthday, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu participated in Green India Challenge and planted a sapling at his home in Hyderabad. Later he nominated Kollywood actor Vijay, Jr NTR and Shruti Haasan. Finally Thalapathy Vijay accepted the challenge.
Thalapathy Vijay is the latest celebrity to take part in the Green India Challenge that is going viral among Tollywood celebrities. On Tuesday, Vijay took to his microblogging page to share photographs of himself planting a tree sapling at his home in Neelankarai in Chennai. In one of the photographs, he is seen holding a sapling in his hand and posing for the camera. Responding to Mahesh Babu’ call, Vijay tweeted, “This is for you Mahesh Babu garu. Here’s to a Greener India and Good health.” His tweet is now going viral on the social media. Vijay’s tweet has amassed nearly 104K RTs and 250K likes. Puli and Sarkar fame Vijay also thanked Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu for nominating him.
Mahesh Babu replied to Vijay by saying, “Thanks a lot brother for taking this up. Stay safe”. Earlier, King Nagarjuna, Samantha Akkineni, Raashi Khanna, Prabhas and several others took part in the Green India Challenge.
