In Tollywood, Rakul Preet Singh was last seen playing the female lead in King Nagarjuna starrer romantic and family drama Manmadhudu 2, which ended up a dud at the box office. Nowadays the actress is not getting offers for any big budget projects. We have already reported that she has been roped in an upcoming low budget movie, which is being helmed by Krish and has Vaishnav Tej in the lead role. The untitled film has been launched recently and the shoot has also been started.
After a long time, Rakul Preet Singh is now doing a Telugu film and is trying to save her career by acting with young heroes as well. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rakul Preet Singh has decided to slash her paycheck for Vaishnav Tej starrer low budget film.
There was a time when Rakul Preet Singh used to get close to 1.5 crores but as Krish’ directorial venture is an experimental film and is being made on a low budget, Rakul has decided to reduce her remuneration. The upcoming film is produced by Krish and his partner Rajeev Reddy on the First Frame Entertainment banner.
On the other side, Rakul Preet Singh is currently acting opposite Nithin in ‘Check’ and Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2.
