Popular Comedian and anchor Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s house was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai yesterday on 21st November. The NCB has recovered a small amount of cannabis from the residence of Bharti Singh and Haarsh.
According to the latest update, Comedian Bharti Singh has been arrested after questioning by NCB in Mumbai. The comedian and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, were taken to the NCB’s Mumbai office for questioning after the anti drug agency recovered a small quantity of cannabis during a search of their home.
Visuals from outside their residence – an apartment complex in Andheri – showed Bharati Singh being driven away in a red Mercedes, whereas Haarsh Limbachiyaa was taken in a white NCB van. Bharti Singh infirmed that she was called for questioning.
The raids come amid an expanding probe, which started with inquiries into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the month of June, into alleged drug use by members of the entertainment industry.
Earlier this month Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’ home was searched, and both he and his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades, were summoned for questioning.
