Megastar Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal starrer social message oriented movie Acharya is one the much hyped project of South Indian film Industry. Acharya marks the maiden collaboration of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva. In the film, it is rumored that Sye Raa actor Chiranjeevi is playing the dual roles.
According to the buzz, Acharya is all about a middle aged Naxalite turned social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and the donations. Koratala Siva’ directorial venture Acharya originally was supposed to mark Trisha Krishna’ return to Telugu filmdom after many years. However, Nayaki actress opted out of the project due to creative differences and later the makers brought Kajal Aggarwal on the board to play the female lead role.
Today morning Konidela Production house took to twitter and announced that the shoot of Acharya will commence from 9th November with all the safety precautions. It will be a month long schedule in which a large chunk of the shoot will be completed.
According to the latest reports, the makers of Acharya have decided to cut down on budget as the pandemic and lockdown came as a huge blow to the entertainment industry. Apart from bankrolling, Ram Charan will play a cameo in his dad film.
Post lockdown, we are excited to be back on sets from NOV 9th with all the safety precautions. It will be a month long schedule in which large chunk of the movie shoot will be done.
