We are talking about Saif Ali Khan who is all set to play the role of Lankesh- Ravana in Om Raut’ directorial venture Adipurush in which Prabhas will play the lead role and will be seen  in the role of Ram. Now according to the latest update, Adipurush villain, Saif Ali Khan and  Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan have been roped in an upcoming  Hindi film, which is remake of  Tamil blockbuster movie Vikram Vedha. Hrithik  Roshan will play the gangster whereas Saif Ali Khan will essay the cop.

Earlier Bollywood star Aamir Khan was expected to play the character of Vedha. However, as per reports, Aamir recently backed out of  this remake and finally the role fell in the lap of Hrithik Roshan.

The original version Vikram Vedha starred Tamil star R Madhavan as a police officer Vikram whereas Vijay Sethupathi essayed the  role of gangster Vedha. The Hindi remake of this upcoming film will be bankrolled by  Neeraj Panday and directed by Pushkar Gayathri, who also helmed the Tamil original. The Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha is expected to go on floors soon.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in action drama War, helmed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled  by Aditya Chopra.
