The Young mega hero Vaishnav Tej, the younger brother of Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej is making debut in the Telugu film industry with an upcoming romantic film Uppena, which is produced by Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers.
In this romantic entertainer, Vaishnav Tej will be seen sharing the screen space with Krithi Shetty and it also has Vijay Sethupathi in the crucial role. Mythri Movie Makers sold off the digital rights of all their previous movies for Amazon Prime but this time, the makers sold out the digital rights of Uppena to other digital giant Netflix.
The sources say that Amazon’s quote for the digital rights was quite low so the makers of Uppena decided to wait for the film’s release. But now the reports are coming that Netflix acquired the digital rights of all the languages of Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty starrer Uppena for a record price.
The romantic film Uppena is helmed by debutante Buchibabu Sana and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. The songs of Uppena managed to gain good attention but the delay in release has dampened the buzz around for the movie. Meanwhile Vaishnav Tej is currently working with Krish for his next film which has Rakul Preet Singh as a leading lady.
