It has been officially confirmed that Jayam Mohan Raja is all set to helm a Telugu movie, which is remake of Malayalam film Lucifer in which Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role and it will be produced by NV Prasad’s NVR Cinema and Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame Chiranjeevi said that they have locked the script for the Lucifer remake. Mohan Raja of Thanioruvan fame has been roped to direct the project and it will go on the floors after Sankranthi.
In the past both Mohan Raja has worked with Chiranjeevi for the movie Hitler as assistant director. Lucifer remake marks Chiranjeevi 153 project and the second directorial venture of Mohan Raja after Hanuman Junction. The complete details regarding the cast and crew of Lucifer remake are awaited.
Previously the name of Sujeeth of Saaho fame and later VV Vinayak were attached to the Lucifer remake that finally it went to Jayam Mohan Raja. The sources say that Mohan Raja narrated a script that has been tweaked to suit Tollywood audience.
Chiranjeevi is currently shooting with Koratala Siva and Kajal Aggarwal for upcoming social message oriented movie Acharya, in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan is playing a cameo.
