Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has tested positive for coronavirus. She was in Chandigarh recently to shoot for a film in which she is sharing the screen space with Rajkummar Rao. The sources say that Kriti Sanon was tested positive for Coronavirus during her stay in Chandigarh and decided to come back to Mumbai. ‘Panipat’ actress is yet to confirm about having tested coronavirus positive.
Ever since film shooting resumed in Hindi film industry, several actors have contracted Covid-19. Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta too tested +ive for the virus while they were shooting in Chandigarh for ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’.
Kriti Sanon returned to Mumbai on Sunday, after wrapping up the first schedule of her untitled next, which is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, and also has Aparshakti Khurana, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah in the crucial role.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Kriti Sanon has been approached to essay the role of Sita in Prabhas’s upcoming film, Adipurush, which is directed by Om Raut. The sources say that recently Om Raut narrated the script to Kriti Sanon and she was impressed with her character. Though Panipat girl has given her initial nod, she is yet to sign on the agreement.
