Megastar Chiranjeevi has number of projects in his kitty and currently busy in the shoot of Koratala Siva’ magnum opus Acharya, which has Kajal Aggarwal as a leading lady and Mega Power Star Ram Charan in the role of a cameo. He has also announced the remake of two crazy blockbusters- Lucifer and Vedalam. It is known news that Lucifer remake which will be helmed by Mohan Raja will be launched on 21st January. The sources say that Megastar Chiranjeevi is in no mood to delay Vedalam remake and he came up with a top plan.
Chiranjeevi has decided to shoot both Lucifer and Vedalam remakes back to back. Apparently, Chiranjeevi will be commencing Vedalam remake in the month of February. Vedalam, directed Siva, revolved around the exploits of a taxi driver with a past. The action drama starred Shruti Haasan as Thala Ajith’ love interest, whereas Lakshmi Menon played the role of Ajith’ sister.
Mohan Raja will be helming Lucifer remake, whereas Meher Ramesh is on the board to helm Vedalam’s Telugu version.
Chiranjeevi was last seen in Surender Reddy’ directorial venture Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy that opened to a thunderous response at the box offices of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
