Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working with Koratala Siva for a film Acharya, which has Kajal Aggarwal as a leading lady. And after wrapping up the shoot of Acharya, he will start the work for his next project Lucifer remake, which will be directed by Mohan Raja, who is known for helming films such as Jayam, Santosh Subramaniam, M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, and Thani Oruvan.
Mohan Raja is returning to helm a remake after making three original movies in a row. Now according to the latest update, Nayantara is also the part of Chiranjeevi starrer Lucifer remake and she will be seen playing the role of Chief Minister’ daughter.
Though the remake will not have any actress opposite Chiranjeevi but Nayantara will make her screen presence in the role of villain’ wife. In the original version of Lucifer, Manju Warrier played the role. The sources close to the makers revealed that as Nayantara was very happy with this character, she gave her green signal and very soon the official announcement regarding her inclusion will be made. The young hero Satyadev has also been roped in Lucifer remake to play the crucial role.
In past Nayan has worked with Chiranjeevi in the historic drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
