Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer big budget action drama Master is gearing up for grand release on 13th January on the eve of Pongal.  The film Master is going to compete with Simbu starrer Eeswaran which is releasing on 14th January.

After hearing the release date of Eeswaran, the fans of  Vijay started to troll Simbu on the social media. To avoid negativity, Simbu now issued a statement saying that his film Eeswaran is not a competition to Master, and he urged his fans to watch Master.

Simbu asked the fans  to visit their near theatre to watch the movies and he also showered praises on Vijay for his hard work. Simbu further urged his fans and the movie lovers  to watch Vijay starrer Master and asked Vijay’s fans to watch his film.  The actor also talked about safety precautions. He was thankful to the CM for allowing the theatres to open at 100% occupancy.

Meanwhile  Vijay is collaborating with director Nelson Dhilipikumar for an upcoming movie.  This is not the first time Simbu is clashing with Vijay. Earlier in  the year 2012, Simbu’ starrer film  Podi Podi and Vijay starrer movie Thuppakki clashed but turned out to be a super hit.
