Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer court room drama Vakeel Saab’ satellite rights have been sold out to Gemini TV but now the news is that Zee Telugu got the lucky chance. According to the latest report, Zee Telugu has acquired the film Vakeel Saab’ satellite rights by offering a fancy price for Rs 15 Cr.
Gabbar Singh fame Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the role of a powerful lawyer which was originally essayed by Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B. Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan, who has earlier shared the screen space with Pawan Kalyan in ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Katama Rayudu’, is playing the crucial role in Vakeel Saab.
Vakeel Saab, touted as an intense court drama, helmed by Venu Sriram, also has Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Prakash Raj and Ananya Nagalla in the crucial roles.
The film Vakeel Saab was supposed to hit the screens in May. However, due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, and the lock down the makers couldn’t complete it on time. But finally the shoot of Vakeel Saab has been wrapped up and currently the movie is in the post production stage.
