Bollywood actor and film maker Mahesh Manjrekar has been booked under a non cognizable offence at Yawat police station after he slapped and abused a man in Maharashtra. According to the latest report, Mahesh Manjrekar is booked on the charges of slapping and abusing a man whose car had hit his car from behind on Pune Solapur Highway near Yawat. This incident took place on Friday night. The man identified as Kailas Satpute and on Saturday he filed a complaint against Mahesh Manjrekar at Yawat police station under Pune rural jurisdiction.
Mahesh Manjrekar has claimed that the driver of car was under the influence of alcohol when this incident took place The actor has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 323 and 504.
The police said that this incident took place on Friday night, on Pune and Solapur highway. Near Yawat, Mahesh Manjrekar’ vehicle was hit by the complainant’s car. The complainant, Kailas Satpute has claimed that he was slapped and abused by the actor and film maker Mahesh Manjrekar.
Mahesh Manjrekar said that he was on my way to Chaufula for a shoot, where the crew was waiting for him. Nera Yawat, this driver hit his car from behind. His two colleagues who were in his car suffered whiplash.
On the otherside, it is known news that Mahesh Manjrekar’ daughter Saiee Manjrekar is making her debut in Telugu film industry with Varun Tej starrer sport based movie.
